GFC 1ST Team Start the New League Season With a Disappointing Performance

Disappointing afternoon at Le Boulivot, after Chris Carter opened the scoring early against St Ouen, we settled down to play some good football. GFC then started to allow St Ouen to gain more and more possession of the ball, culminating in them equalising mid way through the half. In the final minute giving away a clumsy penalty, St Ouen then took the lead with a penalty.
GFC started the second half slowly, lack of concentration letting St Ouen extend there lead within the first minute. The team responded well pulling a goal back, Chris Carter finding the back of the net for the second time.
St Ouen went down to 10 men midway through the half, but we failed to capitalise. St Ouen adding to their scoring in the last few minutes.
Final score a 4-2 defeat.
