Match Highlights....

Once again weather conditions were against the two teams as the wind blew across Le Quennavais field. This was a big factor in the first quarter remaining goalless.

In the second quarter Grouville managed to take the lead from the right foot of George Moore. Sadly as the hale started Jersey Scottish were able to pull level. 1 - 1 at half time.

The third quarter saw the game burst into life. George Moore blasted in his and Grouville's second with his trusty right foot after a shot from Max Rogers had been blocked. Just before the end of the quarter Jersey Scottish pulled level.  2 -2 and all to play for in the final quarter.

A great run on the right saw Grouville's lead restored when Charlie Ovenden drilled the ball into the bottom left corner. Unfortunately Grouville could not close out the game and Jersey Scottish pulled level again. There was still time for Tom Terry to pull off a great save diving to his right to tip the ball around the post to ensure the points were shared.

Good performance in horrendous conditions bearing in mind we had no substitutes to call on.
